While we strive to maintain accurate and up-to-date information, DisplaceIndex makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the data presented.
Hard data is sourced from public Federal Reserve (FRED) and Bureau of Labor Statistics datasets. These datasets are subject to revision. Sentiment data is derived from automated analysis of third-party content and may reflect biases inherent in the underlying sources or the scoring model.
We make no representations that the index accurately measures the full scope or cause of labor market changes. AI-driven displacement is one of many factors affecting employment, and the index cannot disaggregate AI causation from broader economic trends.
4. Intellectual property
The DisplaceIndex brand, composite methodology, scoring model, and original written content are the intellectual property of DisplaceIndex and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.
Underlying FRED data is in the public domain, courtesy of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. BLS data is public domain. Third-party news content analysed by the sentiment engine remains the property of its respective publishers.
For academic and journalistic use, you may cite the index as: DisplaceIndex (displaceindex.com), accessed [date]. Commercial or bulk data use requires prior written permission.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically download site content in bulk without permission.
