AI MENTION RATE BY OCCUPATION — 2026-W14

% of job postings for each occupation that mention AI tools or skills (ChatGPT, Copilot, LLM, machine learning, generative AI, etc.)

< 12% Minimal AI requirement
12–39% Growing AI requirement
≥ 40% High AI requirement

Methodology

For each tracked occupation, two Adzuna API queries are run weekly: one for the total number of US job postings matching the occupation title, and one for postings matching the title plus at least one AI-related keyword (ChatGPT, Copilot, LLM, "artificial intelligence", "machine learning", "generative AI", "AI tools", "prompt engineering", GPT-4). The AI mention rate is AI-keyword postings ÷ total postings × 100. This measures how frequently employers signal AI skill requirements in job descriptions — not whether the role itself is at risk of automation.

Data is collected weekly. The chart shows the most recent snapshot per occupation. Trend lines will appear once multiple weeks of data have been collected. Full methodology →
